JISP Convergent Billing Wins Telecom Billing Contract in Alliance with Somera

Convergent billing solution, JISP, a strong IP billing provider, has won a CDMA voice and data billing project. The project is in partnership with global systems integrator and provider of telecom equipment lifecycle management services, Somera Communications Inc. of the United States.

 
JISP will offer its complete billing and customer care solution to SA Telecom – CDMA service provider in Bangladesh. With liberalization, the Bangladesh telecom market has seen plenty of action with the entry of multiple private players.
 
“We have until recently been very strong players in IP billing,” says Nikhil Jain, President and Chief Operating Officer of Elitecore Technologies, providers of JISP.  “The SA Tel project marks our entry into convergent telecom billing. We are moving rapidly into triple play convergent billing with projects being finalized in the Asia-Pacific, Middle-east and African regions.”
 

JISP holds a 90 per cent market share of the Indian pre-paid dial-up billing market and over 35 per cent of the post-paid dial-up market. Elitecore supports a subscriber base of over 3 million end-customers through leading telecom players like Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Mahangar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), Reliance, Bharti, Hathway and more.
